Administered by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), the Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training (BHWET) Program develops and expands the behavioral health workforce serving populations across the lifespan, including in rural and medically underserved areas.
In addition to the 15 grants below awarded to APA-accredited doctoral psychology programs in 2021, several other collaborative grants were awarded to programs training doctoral psychology students in addition to other mental/behavioral health providers.
