APA’s congressional and executive branch fellows for 2023–2024

Applications are being accepted for APA’s four policy fellowship opportunities for 2024–25: APA Executive Branch Science Fellowship; APA Congressional Fellowship; Jacquelin Goldman Congressional Fellowship (for psychologists with expertise in children’s issues, and funded by the American Psychological Foundation); and the Springfield LGBTQIA+ Congressional Fellowship (for psychologists with expertise in LGBTQIA+ issues, and funded by the American Psychological Foundation). More information can be found on the Fellowships webpage. The deadline to submit applications is January 5, 2024. 

We are also pleased to welcome APA’s one executive and three congressional branch fellows for 2023–24: 

  • Latoya C. Conner, PhD, is the 2023–24 Executive Branch Science Fellow at the Office of Policy Coordination and Innovation at the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
  • Tiffany Chenneville, PhD, is the 2023–24 Springfield Congressional Fellow at the office of Senator Ron Wyden (D-Oregon).
  • Janice Lepore, PsyD, is the 2023–24 Jacquelin Goldman Congressional Fellow at the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance.
  • Agnes M. Varghese, PhD, is the 2023–24 APA Congressional Fellow at the office of Representative Lisa Blunt Rochester (D-Delaware).
