Registration details and policies
Registration fee and what it covers
The registration fee for PSLC 2027 is $500 per person and includes:
- Hotel: Three (3) nights of accommodations (room and tax) at the Grand Hyatt Washington, paid directly by APA/APA Services.
- Meals: Breakfast and lunch on Friday, February 5, and Saturday, February 6.
- Travel: APA/APA Services covers eligible airfare and train travel booked through its designated travel partner, ATC/deem.
Registration deadline: Wednesday, November 18, 2026
All attendees must complete their individual registration and pay the $500 per-person registration fee by November 18, 2026.
Each attendee is required to complete their own registration in accordance with APA/APA Services’ updated registration and consent requirements. However, state, provincial and territorial psychological associations (SPTAs) may pay registration fees on behalf of their entire delegation upon request. Please email Jamie Acra for assistance with this.
Substitution policy
To ensure consistent representation across associations, substitutions outside the designated leadership roles are not permitted for PSLC 2027. Unused invitation slots cannot be reassigned to individuals serving in other roles.
Late Registration
Individuals who register after November 18, 2026, will be accommodated on a space-available basis and must pay the $500 registration fee. APA/APA Services-funded travel and hotel accommodations for these registrants are subject to availability and require advance written approve from APA/APA Services.
All attendees must book their flights or train travel through ATC/deem by December 16, 2026. Travel booked after this deadline or outside ATC/deem will not be covered or reimbursed by APA/APA Services.
Registration cancellations and refunds
All registration cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the PSLC Planning Team via email by Friday, January 29, 2027. Upon receiving your cancellation request, APA/APA Services will cancel your flight or train reservation on your behalf.
If you cancel your registration after a flight or train ticket has been purchased, any nonrefundable ticket cost will be deducted from your $500 registration fee. The remaining balance, if there is any, will be refunded to the SPTA after the conference. If the nonrefundable ticket cost exceeds $500, APA/APA Services will cover the difference; no additional payment will be required.
If the ticket is fully refundable or no ticket has been purchased, the full $500 registration fee will be refunded to the SPTA after the conference.
Travel details and policies
New policy: All flight or train tickets must be booked using APA/APA Services’ exclusive travel partner ATC/deem.
Information regarding booking travel will be included in your registration confirmation email.
Please note, APA/APA Services does not pay for additional costs, such as flight changes, class/seat upgrades, food or beverages ordered on flight, internet or cancellation fees. Those expenses are the responsibility of the traveler.
The deadline to book your flight is December 16, 2026
Please try to avoid booking travel between 1 p.m. Eastern time, Fridays through 1 p.m. Eastern time, and Sundays as APA/APA Services staff do not monitor emails on the weekends. If additional approvals are required, they may not be received during the airline’s booking period.
All travel travel must be booked through APA/APA Services’ designated travel partner, ATC/deem, by December 16, 2026. Travel booked outside of ATC/deem or after this deadline will not be covered or reimbursed by APA/APA Services.
